Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired by her upbringing in a New York family of artists. Beginning, she worked as a assistant in photography. Then she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. Her first two movies she received recognition as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw was named the most successful female at the box office in history. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out.
